Power cuts

Storms and grid faults can leave homes without electricity for days.

Water off

Burst mains and floods can cut the supply to whole towns.

No phone or internet

A cyber attack or outage can take mobile networks and card payments down.

Help may take time

Being ready at home frees emergency services for people who need them most.

Line by line

What the checklist asks for, and what's in your box.

We built the box from the published Be Ready advice, line by line. The few things only you can add, like cash and your own medicines, are clearly marked, and a printed card reminds you of them.

Questions

Plain answers.

Can't see yours? Call 0000 000 000.

Are you part of the government?

No. BeReady2Day is an independent UK business. Our box follows the government's published Be Ready checklist, but we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government.

How heavy is the box?

The 2-adult box with water weighs about 25 kg. The no-water version weighs about 10 kg. Our courier carries it to your door.

Can I buy it without water?

Yes. Choose the no-water box if you'd rather store your own bottled water. You need about 3 litres per person for each day.

Where do you deliver?

[Delivery area to confirm, for example UK mainland, with Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland priced separately.]

How quickly will it arrive?

We dispatch within [1–2 working days] and the courier delivers within [2–3 working days] of that.

What happens when things go out of date?

Every box has a printed card with its best-before dates. We'll remind you before the first date and offer a refill pack.

Can I return it?

[Returns policy to confirm before launch.]

Stay ready, without thinking about it.

An email when the advice changes, before winter, and a reminder to check your dates. No more than once a month.
